I understand your problem but there is no reason for you to think you are being played. It sounds to me that she is a friend, thats why she lkes to hang out with you. When you ask the girl to makeout you are crossing that friend line. This girl does not want to cross that friend line with you for one of two reasons.
1. She likes you as a friend and wants to keep the friendship.
2. She does not want to make out with you because you are not attrative to her.
My suggestion is to quit buying her so much coffee and food. If she is a real friend you wont have to buy her things. Enjoy her company like you would any other friend and hope one day she wants to make out with you. Until that magical day focus your efforts on another lucky girl, thats not a gold digger.
